Bharati

How does it feel to be a Topper in the university exams? Whom will you credit your success to? What was your success mantra?

It is obviously a good feeling you get when you achieve something special. I am happy. But frankly speaking it is only the half job done, getting good marks in 6th sem is also important which requires you to get out of topper’s feeling. I would like to give credit to God for showing his greatness on me, my amazing teachers, my parents, my siblings and yes my friends who stood by me. I don’t have any mantra. It is just you work hard right from beginning and you get your fruits sweet.

Did you prepare any timetable and please share your study strategy/exam tips to crack each subject of sem 5?

There was no particular timetable as we BMS students have presentations and test and then it becomes really difficult to follow it.

For sem 5, I don’t think any tip will help. If you really want to get good marks there is only a single way by studying regularly, smartly and not missing anything.

Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?

I think self- study is enough for BMS, still one can join coaching classes for practical subjects like Financial Management and Special studies in Finance.

Yes, I had join classes for both the practical subjects FM and SSF. Classes help in solving more sums, giving you more practice.

What was your specialization subject? Why did you opt for it?

My specialization subject was Finance. I took SSF because it is a scoring paper and also of my interest.

Can you list the textbooks you referred for all subjects?

I referred books of Vipul publications for all subejcts.

Which was your worst paper? Why? Which was your best paper? Why?

My worst paper was FM as I was expecting a very easy paper but it was totally opposite. The paper was very much lengthy and tricky.

My best papers were Special Studies in Finance and Service Sector Management. Both the papers were very much easy.

Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?

It is heart breaking when I hear about students committing suicide. Depression, fear, tension are a part of life. Instead of finding out what went wrong, what do they lack as they failed, they use a short cut and end up losing their life which shows how much coward they are. Failures occur to teach us and we must take it as an experience and in a positive way and see to it that you do better next time. No, I was never in need of such technique. I always did what i like and that is my key of stress breaking.

The Black Book project contributing a significant part to the percentage, please share the experiences you had during the preparation of the project and how has it benefited you.

It didn’t make a big difference for me as I was expecting more marks, still it was explorative experience.

Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS? What are your future  plans?

No, I didn’t pursue any extra course. I am looking forward to do job for a year and then do PG .

Any tips and advises for your juniors?

I will advise them to be regular and punctual for college. Start studying from the beginning, be good with everyone and respect all as even the smallest thing count along with our hard work and efforts in final result. Lastly, don’t be a bookworm, have fun along with studies.
