I founded nosense inventions Private Limited in October, 2012.
nosense invisons of inventing Ingenious Products/Services to solve The Problems and make People’s Life better.
There is an interesting thought behind choosing the name NOSENSE for my startup.
Most of the times when ideas go out of the box / beyond understanding, people say, it doesn’t make any sense (It makes No Sense).
So let’s work on such crazy ideas, manifest them and bring lots of sense!!
We have been working on some Web and Mobile Apps based Products/Services which will be launched soon and will make you fall in love with them.
And we are insane to shake your senses!! So Stay Tuned. www.nosense.in
- What is your philosophy towards work?
I do, what I love to do and makes me forgot the time and rest of the world.
If your work and workplace doesn’t let you loose the track of time and makes you look at clock on the wall to find if office closing hours have reached,
Then you should change either work or workplace because probably you have not found what you are love with.
- Whom do you admire as your role model? And why?
Steve Jobs. He was able to blend Spirituality with Science to come up with Apple which has changed way technology works around me. His commencement address at Stanford – “Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish” is something I believe blindly and read every night before I sleep. It helps me to become positive whenevr I feel bad or sad about anything.
This address has wonderful messages for all of us.
- “Management is core to every individual, organization & society.” Give your views on it.
In my journey of startup till now, I learned; managing humans with their belief, attitudes and images about themseleves is quite challenging. No startups or MNCs would work without well mamanged teams of good people.
- Name 3 qualities of prime importance that a businessman should possess.
According to me, being madly in love with your vision and fire within to convert ideas into reality regardless of failures, matters most.
- According to you, what are the challenges for Entrepreneurship today?
There could be many challenges. The one’s I came across are, finding co-founders, mentors and simple ways to acess funding in idea phase.
One which I want to mention, there is a security-driven Job Seeker attitude is most of the youth than Risk-driven rebelous Entrepreneur attitude which is quite essential for most of the entrepreneurs.
- Can Entrepreneurship be taught in B-Schools/Management Institutes/Colleges?
Some skills which would be helpful during journey of entrepreneurship can be taught in colleges. But Passion and fire required to convert your vision and ideas into reality will come only after jumping into the journey of start up. Once during my IIT Days, I met a guy from an Unversity from Germany. He has asked me something.
Let me put it up in his own words.
“I don’t know why Graduates and Post-Graduates here in Chennai are Job-Seekers even after being so lucky to have very good higher education.
At my place as we all got a chance to have higher education, we are told to become Entrepreneurs and create Jobs for the one’s who couldn’t have privillage to have the education we had.!!!”
So message was pretty simple for me and now it’s for us.
- Is the Name of the Institute from where a student pursues his/her Graduation/Post Graduation or other courses important while setting up your business?
There are some incidences, specially networking events where your college name would help you.
- Do you think today’s economy is conducive for a new venture to start upon?
Yes, It is pretty much supportive. There are lots of activities happening around unleashing magic of magic wand of entrepreneurship in Indian Startup Eco Systems. I have seen some very good initiatives by Incubation Cells setup at IIMs, IITs and many colleges across the coutry as well as Private Bodies. Government of India has also come up with Software and Technology Parks to promote entrepreneurship among Indian youth.
It would be great if these initiatives made free from too much of paperwork and unnecessary Hassels.
- “Earning more & more is the motive behind any business.” Is it justifiable?
No it’s not justifiable at all. My personal view about this is startups are more about solving some real problems which people are facing to make their lives peaceful with lots of value added in it. My startup’s products/services will give lot’s value into peoples live’s and in return we will celebrate success of startup of which money is just a part. Money can’t be the only driving force behind it.
- Share with us the most enjoyable moment you had experienced on work.
I had a couple of designes of hand made progrmmable greeting cards (very first product of nosense inventions) in my mind during Diwali, 2012. When I gave one of my own hand designd Greeting Card to my friend to wish her Happy Birthday and saw light in her eyes, I was more then just happy.
