David Moyes : “We gave away two terrible goals but prior to that we had great control of the game. We kept the ball really well but we didn’t have a final through-pass or the final finish when the chances came.”
It wasn’t a happy return for David Moyes at Goodison Park, as Kevin Mirallas and Leighton Baines sealed a 2-0 win for Everton Football Club over Manchester United on Sunday. The Red Devils were not inspired and comfortably beaten by Roberto Martinez’s men, who opened the scoring from the penalty spot and could have had plenty more than two goals.
David William Moyes was born on 25th April 1963. He is a Scottish football manager of Manchester United since July 2013 and former player. Previously he was the manager of Everton and made over 540 league appearances as a centre-half in a playing career that began with Celtic.
