An Interview with Sagar Suhas Kulkarni, 3^rd rankholder, VPM’s R.Z. Shah College (67.66%)

Hello BMS Team. Your call for Topper’s interview was indeed a big achievement for me.

Well to start off, let me be very frank. I am an average student always interested in all activities except studies.

First four semesters, I was a failure. I couldn’t clear in 1^st attempt. This is the first time, I have cleared all subjects.

 I really don’t regret for being a failure because right from the first day I was very active in all extracurricular activities of my college.

I was Mr. FRESHER in my FY and Mr. VPM in my SYBMS.

 I was elected as the CL of our college in my SYBMS.

 I was in the core committee of our college fest which was a huge success last year.

In my FY and SY I have won more than 30 prizes in inter-collegiate events such as SPECTRUM, DIMENSIONS, MANZIL, PANAROMA, MONETA, EMMORZEAL, CRYSALLIS, GANDHARVA, ZEAL, TARANGAN and many others in DEBATE, STOCK MOCK, P.I, QUIZ, AD MAD, EXTEMPORE.

   I was never a book worm…but I really got to learn many things from these activities!

   I am always in touch with the latest updates and general updates.

   BMS is all about management and managing people…so participating in these activities helped me a lot!!

   Let’s come back to studies; well all the subjects in semester 5 were quite interesting.

   I have never studied hard…never prepared any schedule…but yes my concepts were always clear.

   I never mugged up answers….SECRET ….of scoring marks….FLOOD YOUR ANSWER PAPER WITH LATEST EXAMPLES…I did that and the results are out!

   One should never take risk in case of F.M and LOGi!

   Suicide, I think students must understand college is learning, this is not a do or die situation…taking pressure on oneself is an individual’s choice….failure, take it positively, your base becomes strong!!

   BMS is a course which is supposed to be enjoyed, shared, discussed and discovered…..this is not a typical 9-5 bracket!

   Presentations should be taken positively…put your maximum efforts for presentations and mock sessions….it really helps….present ppt slides point wise.

  Be aware about the latest updates, read news papers…talk to people from different organizations and BMS becomes interesting…!

  I never take stress…so I don’t have any solutions..!!

  About my future plan….probably will become an entrepreneur as I am learning the same!
