One should apply in most of the BMS colleges as if you figure down; the syllabus is the same as these colleges would come under the Mumbai University. But with a rise in competition and soaring cut-off lists, getting admission into any of the top colleges becomes next to impossible for many students. Every student is not a born genius and as a result many students fail to get admission into top colleges. For such students’ management quota seats act as blessing in disguise. In most BMS Colleges, there exists a quota of seats meant for management under which a prospective student can get admission by paying fee which is slightly higher than general quota seat.
The Management Quota comes into the picture after the 2nd list more or so, when your chances are less of getting into a BMS college you prefer. 15% of the seats are reserved for Management Quota in most of the non-minority Colleges.
