Wilson College is one of the oldest colleges in Mumbai. Wilson College was founded in 1832 by the Indian missionary Re. John Wilson. The college offers a variety of subjects in HSC and UG level which includes the aided and unaided courses. The college has approximately 73,000 books and has a staff of 11 members. The college also has 3 hostels to provide accommodation for its students. The college has its own gymkhana which has a wide range of facilities for indoor and outdoor sports. The college’s canteen is favorite among the students in which a good variety of food is available for both staff and students. The canteen’s ‘Samosa Sambhar’ is given an excellent rating by Mumbai Mirror.
