Gear up for a remake of Ram-Lakhan : First Poster Out!

Ram Lakhan is one of the most iconic films in Bollywood. It featured Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles. Subhash Ghai had produced the film and he film was released in 1989. Karan Johar announced today that filmmaker Rohit Shetty will be directing the remake Ram Lakhan and releasing it in 2016. Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra are in lead roles. As per reports, Karan Johar has purchased the remake rights for a whooping Rs. 5 crores from Subhash Ghai. 

The original Ram Lakhan had the famous ‘Lakhan’ dance of Anil Kapoor and applaudable performances from actors like Rakhi Gulzar and Amrish Puri among others.

Will Rohit Shetty be able to recreate the same magic? As viewers, we have to only wait and watch!
