For your Semester 4, BMS students are now veterans in studying at the last minute: P after 3 semesters. But then it’s time to study for your exams and the earlier the better so here are a few tips to help you score great marks in your exams:
- With only one practical subject to tackle this Sem is bliss for theory lovers.
- But the one practical subject DIRECT AND INDIRECT TAXES has a lot of theory in t too, so make sure you don’t treat it as only practical.
- For the subject of PRODUCTIVITY AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT you have completely new concepts, many of them are those which will appear in your future semesters so make sure you do this subject well. A last minute approach won’t do here.
- EXPORT-IMPORT PROCEDURES AND DOCUMENTATION is a complete theory and a very boring subject. It talk about the different procedures and documentation. Learning the points is the only option because you will need to write them as they are, self based answers will not do.
- For COOPERATIVES AND RURAL MARKETS, some knowledge of marketing management from your past semesters will come in use. Again completely theory based this subject if understood well doesn’t need mugging up.
- RESEARCH METHODS IN BUSINESS deals with a lot of different methods of research. It teaches you the different methods to conduct a research process and for it you need to be very precise in those methods, self answers won’t do.
- PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGEMENT- write this paper with a lot of examples in your answers to score as many marks as possible. A very interesting subject, the PR paper doesn’t require much of your time in studying except for the basic concepts and supplementing it with examples.
- With majority of theory to cover up, start studying well in advance.
- Do your TAX sums very thoroughly, they need a lot off practise, especially because there is a chance of confusing between the direct and indirect taxation formats and a loss of marks due to it.
- Keep practise of writing answers, because the more you write the more you score.
- Keep answer writing formats in mind and try to keep all your answers in that format.
- Well written answers, with the correct formats are appreciated by teachers, plus it will be very helpful for you in your third year.
All the Best!
