Trailers set the tone of a film in the minds of the audience and with Vishal Bhardwaj’s latest directorial it’s going to remain the same. Everyone has their expectations from a film. We have ours. Read on to find out….
The trailer of the Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Irrfan Khan starrer Haider is all set to release this afternoon. But before it gets its light in the day we put out our wishlist from the trailer. Here it goes:
-Shahid and Shraddha have been paired opposite each other for the first time. We hope their chemistry looks good and they don’t like elder brother-younger sister type.
-Shahid is doing a classy film after a long time. His last two releases R…Rajkumarand Phata Poster Nikhla Hero were more for the single screen theatres. We hope he is able to pull that off properly.
-Shraddha’s last film Ek Villain did well, but her attempt at being the super-talkative Geet from Jab We Met failed miserably. We hope she talks less and puts forward a decent appearance rather than a forced make-belief attempt at copying someone else.
-Vishal Bhardwaj’s last film Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola didn’t do that well at the box office. We hope he has learnt from his mistakes and rectified them while making Haider.
-Irrfan Khan is back with Vishal Bhardwaj after a long time. We hope they are able to sizzle the same way they did with Maqbool and not fail like they did with 7 Khoon Maaf.
-Shahid is collaborating with Vishal Bhardwaj once again after Kaminey, which won critical as well as box office acclaim. We hope the same is repeated with Haider.
-Vishal Bhardwaj has always struck gold with his Indianised versions of Shakespearean stories.Maqbool (from Macbeth) and Omkara (from Othello) did well. We hope Haider (from Hamlet) also repeats the same glory.
-Shahid Kapoor has cut his hair to get a very different look in the film. Reports also suggest that he will be sporting a fully clean shaven look as well in the film. We hope all his various looks in the film come out well and impress us.
-As Haider has been shot mostly in Kashmir, we hope to see a great view of the beautiful snow covered Himalayan valley.
