Forefathers’ Day is celebrated on 22nd December 2014. Forefathers’ Day is observed in Plymouth, Massachusetts and commemorates the landing of the Pilgrim Fathers in Plymouth. Forefathers’ Day was introduced on 21st December 1620. Forefathers’ Day is established to honor the forefathers and the celebration begins in the morning with a march, followed by a reading of a proclamation honoring the forefathers and a ritual firing.
