Cannot really describe myself, but I can define myself as Ambitious, Responsible, Quick & believe in smart working.
Tell us about your college?
Lala Lajpatrai College or should I say “LALA’S” started in 1972 aims to educate and train students in different fields. The financial course includes BMS, BMM, BBI, BAF, B.Sc.IT, B.Sc.CS & it also offers other post-graduate courses. Talking about the infrastructure of LALA’s is that it does or have no Campus as big as other colleges but on the contrary it does have a spacious canteen & Mafco where students like to chill out & really enjoy it.
When did you join BMS? Which year you are in?
I joined BMS in the year 2008.
I am in third year.
What inspired you to choose BMS and not any other course?
After I completed my HSC exams, I had 2 options i.e. either BCom or Bms. I was not much interested in Bcom but at the same time was scared to know about how BMS course works. Then I consulted my friends who were pursuing bms & came to know more in detail about this course & so I was very much confident & assured that I will opt for bms…was a tedious time.
According to you, what is BMS all about?
BMS is all about management. Though it teaches management in terms of business but at the same time students also come how to manage all important things in their life.
What’s special about your college? What do you love about it?
Lala’s has really very good airy canteen that help us to survive and also library that help us to be informative.
Who is your favorite teacher/faculty? Why?
Students of “Lala’s” are really blessed with good professors. All BMS teachers/Professors gives their best in order to inculcate knowledge but still my favorite faculty is Vinay Pandit sir, Nagesh Sir & Arun Pujari & Parul Mam.
What was the happiest moment in BMS? The saddest? The most memorable?
The happiest moment would be spending more time with friends for the projects & completing it just last night before the day of presentation…it’s a real fun
The most memorable I would say was the Research Method project where we had to take survey of the foreigners. All thanks to our Prof.Vinay Pandit. It was a great time interviewing them. 🙂
Who in your life has influenced the most?
No one has particularly influenced me but yes I do get influenced by the good qualities of others & imbibe it.
As a BMS student, what change would you like to bring in management education?
BMS course should be bit more practical and should help us in real life.
