Asthma is a common chronic inflammatory disease of the airways characterized by variable & recurring symptoms, reversible airflow obstruction & bronchospasm. Common symptoms including sneezing, coughing, chest tightness, & shortness of breath. A number of other health conditions occur more frequently in those with the asthma, including gastro-esophageal reflux disease, rhino sinusitis& obstructive sleep apnea.
Asthma is caused by the combination of complex & incompletely understood environmental & genetic particles. Many environmental problems are also associated with asthma’s development & exacerbation including allergen, air pollutions & other environmental factors. Smoking during & post pregnancy is also the major cause of Asthma. Asthma is also associated with indoor allergens such as dust mites, cockroaches etc.
Asthma can be genetical or can be affected by it due to various reasons. The prevention of Asthma can be done very well with the home remedies also such as COFFEE-Coffee contains caffeine which can prevent & control asthma attacks researchers have found that regular coffee drinkers are one-third less prone to asthma.
The other measures include ONIONS– onions are loaded with anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have shown that these properties can reduce the construction of airways in an asthma attack.
CHEESECLOTH-Put a fine cheesecloth over each room’s heat outlet. This homemade dust filer can help catching dust & pollens before it’s entered in the house. CHILLI-
PEPPERS– researchers believe that hot foods such has chilli & peppers help in open up airways which makes breathing easier & thus prevent an asthma attack. Apart from these there are many other remedies also such as ORANGE Juice, SALMON, and YOGHURT.
But as always we say “PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE” so it is always better to prevent Asthma before it affects you. Here avoid excess intake of salt as it makes airways more sensitive to trigger. Consider a high quality vegan diet these helps in getting rid off many direct allergens.
