How To Style Handbags According To Your Outfit ?

There so many handbags to select from, there are different Styles, Color, Shapes and Brands.  There are basic three ways to style your purse which are: Over the shoulder, Cross-side and in your hand. Nowadays there is one more which is in trend that are Backpacks.

Big question is how to style them according to your outfit ?

Over the Shoulder Bags

These bags are one of the most worn and versatile bags. These can go on any outfit and will look elegant. Usually they come in all sizes. From big totes to small bags.  Wear a Jeans and a Jacket and wear a Contrast or same color over the shoulder Bag.

Cross-body bags

These are my Personal favorite. They also go on almost all outfits and are more comfortable to work with. Especially when you travelling when you need a bag which is trendy and elegant , Cross-body bag is the one for you. I love to wear them on dresses and on Jeans as well . Select ones which are more elegant looking while wearing them with dress. On Indian dresses you can go with cross side bag having Ethnic feel to it. Like jholi with colorful patch work on it. Looks really good on long skirts.

In your Hand style                                            

These are the true handbags which you can carry them in hand. Sometimes there is a detachable strap which you can attach if you want . But they are mostly structured in such a way that they look good in Hand. You can wear them on western outfits.  Wear them with short skirts or with dresses to make it more chic. Just like the picture below

Backpacks

They are one in trend these days. For me they are most comfortable in travelling. As your hands are free and they look really cute. One can style with almost any western outfit . Especially with shorts and jacket and accessorize with a hat .  You can also wear them on jumpsuits as well.

There are so many so many bags out there but these are the basics which are wardrobe essentials. Always have versatile colors in your collection. Like Black,White and Beige. For more funky and fashionable go for colors like Red, Burgundy and Grey .

There always a right way to style even the basics one must know this. You cant wear a Beautiful gown and carry a over the shoulder bag. One must carry a Clutch over it or in the hand style bags.

Just don’t buy any color or any type of bags just because you like them. Think also about the outfits with which you can wear them. Invest in good bags instead of cheaper ones. A Good Handbag will stay with you for years.
