Hyundai Xcent to launch in India on 12th March 2014 at Rs. 4.66 lac

Hyundai Xcent is all set to be launched tomorrow i.e. 12th March 2014 in India. Hyundai Xcent is the company’s first ever compact sedan and a feature rich car. The sedan gets powered by both petrol and diesel engines – 1.2 litre petrol and 1.1 litre diesel guise. The petrol has the capacity to deliver 82bhp of max power output and 114Nm of top torque. The diesel offers 70bhp of max power and 160Nm of top torque. The petrol variant gets 4-speed automatic transmission and 5-speed manual transmission while the diesel engine has only 5-speed manual gear transmission. The car features rear AC vents, smart key with push button, 2 DIN audio system with USB, CD player with 1GB internal memory, glove box cooling, steering mounted audio controls and Bluetooth, auto folding mirrors and rear arm rest with cup holders.

While the spacious cabin, use of advanced features, ABS with EBD for extra safety can be considered as the plus points of Hyundai Xcent, less stable at high speed, better mileage and lack of desired power in the diesel engine can be considered as the negative points of the car.
