  • Tell us more about yourself.

Hi, I am Chirag Gopani, I am studying in T.Y.BMS in K.E.S college of arts and commerce, I stay at dahisar, I love to watch movies and hanging out with my best buddies, because they are caring our relation with each other. I am just a happy with my score!!! K.E.S is a great college with different faculties who help a lot in times of need

  • Were you expecting to top in the exams? To whom would you credit this success to?

No, I’m shocked when I come to know about my result. I didn’t expect of getting rank in college. All this become possible because of our college’s teaching staff. Every faculty is like mentor for me, who guides me in my all difficulties. I would like to give credit to My parents also, who keep encouraging me, my friends also plays an important role at the time of revision.

  • Did you prepare religiously from day One or A few weeks before the exams?

Yes, I started my preparation with the first day of college. BMS is course where you hardly get time to focus on your study. If you think that I’ll do it later then it keeps on postponing. Still if you don’t want to start from beginning then keep attending lectures regularly.

  • How did you allot time to different subjects?

No, I didn’t make my time table for daily studies. I’m just revising what is taught in the lectures. But for practical subject like SSF and FM I’m practicing on weekends.

  • Can you share some insights on how to crack the subjects before exams?

First of all divide the subject on the basis of theory and practical.

In practical subjects like SSF and FM you need to know some basic fundas of accounting and maths. If you keep practicing then it become very easy subjects for you. While theories are bit tough than practicals.

You must clear your doubts in front of your professors. For case studies there are different books available in college library which would be helpful at the last week before the exams.

  • Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?

It is personal choice of the student. If they got low score or getting difficulties then they need coaching classes. I didn’t join any classes because I believe in self study and more consult with my friends.

  • Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?

Students are committing suicides may be because of pressure and more expectations from them. They are more scared about that, if they fail to meet this expectations then what would happen? And also university results are low in BMS compare to BFM, BAF and BBI. For stress management they must consult their parents.

  • Do you think the number of Industrial visits should be increased for BMS Students? Which industries have you visited?

Yes, the number of IV must increase but college is always taking us to some manufacturing company where they show us different process of manufacturing    which we are unable to understand. They must show us part of the management in industry.

  • Do you think BMS students are flooded with assignments, projects and internal exams round the clock? What changes would you like to bring in the BMS Curriculum?

Yes, at some extent, they are burden if you wait until the last minute because they cause stress. If you take thing as they come prepare well in advance they will not burden you. No doubt there is a lot of team work and presentations and the internals to add to it. All these things help the BMS student learn how to handle tough situations and tackle problems.

  • What message would you like to give to the next batch of BMS students?

I would like to tell them please believe in yourself, work hard to achieve your goal, enjoy life but at the same time strike a balance between studies and enjoyment. And remember if you fail or score low in life, it is not yet the end.

Because I believe that, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”

I would like to say brilliant work done by the web site. It is very much informative and guides the BMS candidates to solve their problems. I seriously like the whole concept of helping students
