Respected teacher, dignitaries and my dear friends wish you Happy Independence Day 2014.
Today we are here to celebrate our Independence Day, an annual commemoration of the day when our country became free from the foreign rule. Today we are celebrating our 68th Independence Day.
There is no such other thing in the world like freedom, after over two centuries tyranny of foreign rule in India, India actually borne on 15th August 1947 as we see it today. The same day when India seized to be under foreign rule and seized the power to make its own destiny is celebrated annually as the Independence Day.
This Independence was a result of long fought freedom struggle against the British rule which finally culminated in Indian’s Independence on 15th August 1947.
