1) Tell us about yourself?

I had pre planned to join BMS, as i think through BMS you cover many topics of different streams. Topics as in a part of it. Eg: law, economics, statistics, computer etc. And u even get social knowledge
And my further plans till now are firstly to complete my studies and then start up with an enterprise.

2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?

It was probably one of the best feeling ever. I was on cloud 9.

3) Whom will you credit your success to?

The credit goes to actually not one but many people, my family for their support and my wonderful faculties and HOD Prof. Deepa Makkad for always motivating me.

4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?

No not from the very first day. I started studying after getting familiar to the subjects i.e approximately after a month.

5) How did you study for Sem V?

I studied for at least 3 hrs a day and i think that is enough to pass out with good marks.
Tips: for theory subjects: give relevant examples specially in special studies in marketing. Write the meaning or definition of the terms and explain the points thoroughly. For financial management practice and smart study is very important. Try to attempt all the questions do not leave any of them.

6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?

According to me theory subjects are easy if u have knowledge about it and know the proper way of writing the answers.

7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraph?

I write answers in bullet points and highlight the topics and sub points. Write at least 6 to 7 points in each answer. Leave space between the points. Keep your paper neat.

8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?

First of all read the case properly and analyse necessary points. Give your opinion and give positive answers.

9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?

I don’t know about getting more marks but by drawing charts and diagram you present a brief note about the answer. I use to draw charts where ever i felt it was necessary.

10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?

I studied for 3 to 4 hours a day and i gave a specific time period for each subject. It is good to prepare a time table because with the help of it your time is managed and necessary is time is given for all the subjects.

11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?

The best way to over come all the distractions is to take a deep breath and start studying. Listening to music or doing what you love can help in increasing your concentration.

12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?

One change that i would like to initiate in Indian education system is reservation for different quota. First preference should be given to the deserving candidates having abilities and skills in them.

13) Many student prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?

The message i would like to give to all the students is that just be confident. Have faith in yourself. It is not the college or the medium that matters the things that are taken into  consideration is your knowledge, abilities and your dedication towards education.

14)Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?

The thing I learned is that always trust yourself  and be confident enough to face the world. Always try to improve yourself try to be a better person than you were yesterday.

There is a heavy competition in today’s world to be successful you need to be on the top so always try to gain knowledge and at the same time give what you have.
