How does it feel to be a Topper in the university exams? Whom will you credit your success to? What was your success mantra?
Every topper desires to be a topper and when you are finally the one it really feels great! I owe my success firstly to the  college professors and coaching classes for preparing me well and then to my parents and grandparents because they are the one who keeps a tab on you and make sure you study time to time. My success mantra was ‘To manage time between studies and leisure’.
Did you prepare any timetable and please share your study strategy/exam tips to crack each subject of sem 5?
I never prepared a timetable just studied randomly. My strategy for theory subjects was to frame the answers well and for practical subjects – continuous revision and covering all types of sums.
Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?
As a BMS student you should be able to get through the theory subjects. But yes for practical subjects, proper teaching and guidance is necessary. I had joined Kashmira Commerce classes for FM and SSF. It did help well!
What was your specialization subject? Why did you opt for it?
I specialized in finance because comparing with marketing it is more scoring and also I am more inclined towards accounts and financial topics.
Can you list the textbooks you referred for all subjects?
RPH for theory and Vipul for FM
Which was your worst paper? Why? Which was your best paper? Why?
My worst paper was Ethics because I was very lenient towards it and due to this it brought down my %. Best was SSF because I scored really well in it.
Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?Â
Suicide is never an option for failure. You fail because you don’t prepare well. Better realise the importance of studies and buck up!
The Black Book project contributing a significant part to the percentage, please share the experiences you had during the preparation of the project and how has it benefited you.
Project is a very essential part of the curriculum because it develops your analytically and improvises your skills!
Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS? What are your future plans?
No, I only gave my complete attention towards BMS plus preparing a black book is no less than a job. I aspire to become a well-qualified HR with good education and high knowledge.
Any tips and advises for your juniors?
All the BMS students should be well-managed and clear headed about what you wanna be and wanna do in the future. When going for the exams be contented with whatever you have studied and don’t crib over what you have not. This way you remain motivated and calm.
