1) Tell us about yourself?

I am basically from commerce background. I chose BMS because I wanted something which would give me practical knowledge. Not only mugging up answers and pasting it in papers. As BMS as a variety subjects every sem. I knew.. Bms it is.. For me..

2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?

It feels great. The response from faculties and classmates… Is awesome.

3) Whom will you credit your success to?

Navigators. Specially Mihir sir for capital budgeting. 🙂 my parents specially my momma. For waking up with me when ever I needed. Next would be obviously Anita Agrawal Mam and Mustafa sir from college as their support was always there for everything. And every college friend of mine for helping me during my illness period.

4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?

Hahahahaha. NO. A big NO. I studied whenever I felt like. No timetables. No burden.

5) How did you study for Sem V?

As I said above. I never ever thought of marks or ranks. I just wanted to give my best. The main mantra I follow. Is not mugging up answers. Understanding it and writing in my own words. Specially for service sector. Subjects like FM and SSF need a lot of practice.

6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?

Easy.. Actually everything is easy.. It depends on how you take it. Business ethics according to me Was easiest.

7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?

I always always write in bullet points. Highlighting the key words.

8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?

Case studies are my favourite. You just need a good reading speed and analysing power. I preferred dividing case studies answers into different parts. Like summary. Main answer and conclusions.

9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?

Diagrams.. Umm.. yess.. It is not mandatory but it helps in conveying the msg to d examiner that u have an overall idea of the subject. Specially in logistics and service sector.

10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?

No no no no ! I swear I never made timetables. No hour long studies. If u feel like studying. Do it. If u don’t. Just sit and do nothing. I did it. I wasted weeks. Doing nothing.

11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?

Do what you love the most. I played piano. Played cricket. Or just simply. Sleep.

12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?

Changes.. Umm… I would include more.of practical based learning methods and would include software training mandatory like tally. Or anything which would be helpful in future when you work.

13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?

According to me. Marks don’t define you. And also your back ground should not affect your results. I would just tell them that do your best. Do not compete with others but compete with yourself.

14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?

I learnt one thing. If you want to achieve something. You need to work for it. There will not be any super power who would help you get marks. Competition.. It is useless. According to me.. U loose yourself when you enter into competition. If you want to compete..analyse your past performances.. Compete with yourself.

What is your message to the upcoming students?

Take it easy guys. Anayalse your strengths and weaknesses in subjects and give time to each subject accordingly.

15) Your feedback for any of the below site?

Bms.co.in .. U guys r doing a very very good job. It is really hhelpful Keep it up.
