1) Tell us about yourself?
Hello People, I am Ashna Bhagtani, ambitious and courageous. I complete my HSC in Commerce and have a Keen Interest in Theories. I desire to pursue my MBA from IIM thus my goal helped me to Select BMS.I was confident and clear with BMS right from my HSC. And after my BMS i ll be in my way to Clear CAT.
2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
Being a Consistent 2nd Ranker in all of my four Semesters, i am not astonished. It feels great and i feel contended. But the main feeling is to stand up to the expectations of my College Faculties and Parents.
3) Whom will you credit your success to?Â
I am thankful to All of my Faculties (as i can’t name all of them but sincere gratitude to my Head of Department-Prof. Nitin Kulkarni, Class Teacher Arti Sharma, F.M faculty-Padma Mam, Anirudh sir and Shailesh Sir) my Friends for motivating me despite my illness and my College Library and their Staff and last but not the least my Mumma and Papa..
4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?Â
No. Not at all.
5) How did you study for Sem V?Â
I focused more on Theories as i sincerely love studying theory Subjects.
For Practicals One should Make Formulae Chart and revise once in a week and for theories key-points is the answer to good marks.
6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
Logistics, Human Resource and Service Sector Management. Capital Budgeting In F.M once you learn the tricks.
7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
I use my own Words which i feel is my Strength after all no faculty would like same words of Text-book except for Definitions and Facts and figures where i was very precise.
8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
I worked on it by having knowledge of the current affairs and by writing the matter related to it by giving examples and facts.
9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
Sometimes, where ever it is required and yes it does helps in attaining marks as it is eye-catching.
10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
I just focused on finishing the theory subjects and revising it the weekly portion in saturday and sunday.
11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
I talk with my mom and sometimes with my role model and things become alright. 🙂
12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
They are doing a great work.but i would like to add more of Practical Experience and optimal utilization of the subjects in Corporates in the Education System.
13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
It does not matter at all. I Am not from Town College. But i have been a consistent Ranker with O and A grade.. After all it is Correctly Quoted ”CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS AND YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR WORLD”
 14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?Â
I have learned to be Brave and nothing Can substitute Experience. I Have done part time Job with all of my 5 Semesters and still working. Because i know Knowledge+practical Job will help me pursue the Art of Life.
Keep Studying, live your College Life and Enjoy because this days won’t come back! Work on your Hobby and do Wonders!
