Myself Ashvita Jayvant Bharam. I have done my graduation this year from S.I.W.S College. My hobbies are reading books and surfing interesting information.
Were you expecting to top in the exams? To whom would you credit this success to?
Whatever percentage i get is satisfied me….my family, my professor and my classes teacher help me in doing my study.
Did you prepare religiously from day One or A few weeks before the exams?
No.
How did you allot time to different subjects? (Did you follow a self-made timetable? And how many hours did you study per day?
Yes I have made myself timetable as per my time adjustment. As I like to study in night, I prefer theory subject in night, and I always practice practical with help of my friends in college. Operational research and International Finance in very difficult to study and these two subjects require more time then other subjects. Form starting for this semester I regular study 6 hours in a day… But for last 1 month I started study 8 hours in a day. Because every day 2 hour practical subject practice is required.
Can you share some insights on how to crack the subjects before exams?Â
Regular practice of all subjects in essential. College professor guide us how to crack case studies. By understanding case properly, and think it form all ways, we can crack it.
Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?
Coaching classes in not essential for every student…but I have join class for only practical subject which I find difficult.
Did you participate in college fests or extra-curricular activities? Do you think a BMS student can manage both studies and extra activities?
Yes. I Participate in college fest and also in intercollege seminar. BMS in made for managing both studies and extra activities. These activities give us practical knowledge about what BMS is actually.
Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS?
No.
Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?
I didn’t think about failure and all about. Whatever I study, I made full effort to do it well. Failure in not option. Life is so long.
Do you think the number of Industrial visits should be increased for BMS Students? Which industries have you visited?
Industrial visits are very good experience in our whole life. I can’t forgot that my precise moment. Every student should try to go on even small Industrial Visits. We get lot of information for Iv. Our college organizes two Industrial visits in a year. One is small Iv and another is Long Iv. In 3 year of BMS course in visited 2 Iv. One small IV in Goa In Cipla Company. And another long IV in Kerala.
Do you think BMS students are flooded with assignments, projects and internal exams round the clock? What changes would you like to bring in the BMS Curriculum?
Assignments, projects and internal exams help students to make their regular study habit. BMS Pattern is properly manage to increase a student efficiency.
What message would you like to give to the next batch of BMS students?
Do Regular study.
What are the future plans post BMS?
I have plan to do M.com with management. And also to do accounting financial diploma course for 1 year.
