01) Tell me us about yourself?
I am a simple girl from a middle class family. Being a girl, I have an ambition of building a career in business management that is the reason for selecting B.M.S for graduation instead of B.com. I am a hardworking girl and very fond of learning new things. Since the beginning of my academics I tried to score good marks in examination. My hobbies are listening music and teaching. I give equal importance to my family and friends. And now, I am looking forward to complete my MBA/MMS.
02) How does it feel to be a topper of the college in TY sem Vth exams?
I was happy to know that I had topped in TY sem V since I  had worked hard for this. This gave me more confidence for achieving my goals and I will work hard for maintaining my rank in VIth sem .
03) Whom will you credit your success to?
Initially I will give credit to my family for their support to further continue to studies and then all the credit goes to my Prof. Mrs. Devika Suryavanshi for her support and guidance without her continuous support and guidance achieving such results wouldn’t be possible. Last but not the least my friends who help me throughout the learning process.
04) Did you start preparing from the first day of your ty sem V?
Yes, I started preparing for the Vth sem from the first day of T.Y.BMS.
05) How did you study for sem V?
I began with my favorite subject i.e. practical’s (ssf/fm).
As practical’s subjects were suppose to be the tougher subjects than that of theory,  I daily practice at least 1hrs of theory and 2hrs for practical subject. Daily at least 4-5 question of practical’s 4-5 questions of theory and by achieving such small targets eventually I got my desired percentage in exam.
06)Which are the easy subject in sem V?
According to me Financial Management, Special Studies in Finance, Human resource management and Business Ethics are the easier subject as compared to logistics, service sector management. Since they both possess technical theory.
07) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
I followed a specific pattern of writing my paper during sem V exam. I began my answer with introduction followed up with definition. 2nd step was of drawing flow charts instead of writing only points. 3rd step was of explaining those points mentioned in flow charts and ending the answer with conclusion. I use to write answer in points instead of paragraphs.
08) how do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
Case studies also require a specific pattern which are observations, suggestion/ recommendations and conclusion. Initially case studies should be analyzed and analyzed data should be written in specified pattern in both the cases , practical as well as theory.
09) did you draw any diagram in any paper ? is it mandatory? does it help to get more marks?
Yes, I draw flow charts and diagrams in long answers . it is not mandatory but useful in explaining answers. Yes , it do helps in scoring more marks than writing answers casually.
10) Any specific study pattern adopted i.e, time table/how many hours per subject per day etc.?
Daily I use to study at least 2hrs of practical’s and 1 hr of theory , scheduling my time table as 1 practical + 1 theory ( for e.g. 2hrs fm + 1hr HRM)
11)How do you fight against mood swings and distraction during exam preparation?
It’s very natural that continuous studying will spoil our mood or other distractions will distract our mind while exam preparation. But, while exam preparation I studied at night for peace and avoidance against such distractions and to relax my mind and release pressure, I do listen music and meditate for few minutes.
12) If you are made the vice chancellor of Mumbai university, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
IF I would be the vice chancellor of Mumbai University, I would have changed the 75:25 marks distribution to 60:40 since it gives students more chance to score good percentage in examination and students gets more to learn in practical’s.
13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college/ not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to give this student?
I would like to say that, studying from a Marathi medium or Hindi medium school never affects your skills. Yes there will be problems while studying graduation or HSC .But never hide problems you are facing and try to share difficulties with professors. Daily read English dictionary. at least 5 words a day , so at the end of the year you will be familiar with at least 1500 words of English.
14) Through this struggle and success what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?
Through this struggle I came across many things such as determination, dedication and hard work. According to me if a person have a determination and a strong dedication towards it and puts all the hard work in it , he/ she can achieve anything desired. Every competitor is a friend who teaches us how to come forward in competition.
