I completed my B.E in Electronics from Mumbai University and worked with Wipro Technologies as my first job as a campus joinee.

DRONA Mobile is an enterprise mobile engagement platform making communication, engagement and learning for their users, efficient and effective. This mobile application makes it easy to create media-rich and interactive content, push it to the user and track its effectiveness.
Bizpunditz is India’s first digital learning content library where top practitioners share their experiences through short video films.
What is your philosophy towards work?
I keep on asking myself and everyone who works with us if they come to work coz they ‘have to’ or they ‘want to’ and invariably we are a group of guys who answer we want to, which automatically builds a culture of passion and instills a Thank God it’s Monday philosophy of life.
Whom do you admire as your role model? And why?
I personally admire all entrepreneurs who have built a commendable product company, since I truly think India needs more product entrepreneurs to change the psyche of students and job seekers from a typical service oriented attitude to a more dynamic product building attitude. Amongst all of them I admire Steve Jobs who was someone who made and sold philosophies that he believed in. He convinced people that they required a phone which just has a button to simplify life unlike a full blown keypad, a miniscule device to listen to music unlike a bulky walkman and more, which I believe were true disruptions!
“Management is core to every individual, organization & society.” Give your views on it.
Every individual manages things in his own sweet way right from birth. It’s important that the person identifies it and works towards improving the same which according to me is the real management, be it managing time, resources, work, people, finances or tech.
Name 3 qualities of prime importance that a businessman should possess.
o Never say die attitude
o Patience
o Belief in one’s idea and execution
Rest of the skills I believe can be acquired and trained by reading books, understanding your own business and solving day to day challenges one faces in business.
According to you, what are the challenges for Entrepreneurship today?
Entrepreneurship requires a lot of dedication and patience to build a lasting company. Sadly I see a lot of startuppers losing patience due to either peer pressure or family pressure and that’s where the first and the biggest lot quit. I truly believe that eventually you may not end up building the business you started of building and most of the times it takes a lot of pivots to get there. It’s how do you get through those ‘pivots phase’ and still keep your motivation high decides how successful a company would you build!
Can Entrepreneurship be taught in B-Schools/Management Institutes/Colleges?
A sureshot NO. I believe and I maintain that an entrepreneur who has it in him to build a successful company WILL build it regardless of a B-School/Institute/College. So for me it’s something that can’t be taught, since everyone company in its process of growth creates its own DNA and its own culture. You can surely learn a few skills in these colleges which you can apply while scaling your business but it may be required probably 1-3 years after you start up. But to start-up none of the skills taught (after seeing seen curriculums) are required.
Is the Name of the Institute from where a student pursues his/her Graduation/Post Graduation or other courses important while setting up your business?
Definitely not, infact forget the name even a graduation or post graduation itself is not important while setting up your business.
Do you think today’s economy is conducive for a new venture to start upon?
I have always maintained that the best time to startup was yesterday. But better late than never, today is still not as late!
“Earning more & more is the motive behind any business.” Is it justifiable?
The motive behind any business is the value you are able to create for your customers/users. Money will always be a by-product to it. If you are able to create genuine value there will be a million business models you can apply to monetize, and the need to monetize should always be to sustain and grow the business.
