1) Tell us about yourself?
Hello, My name is Faiza Mistry. I am pursuing BMS from S.M Shetty. I am from a Commerce background and i have chosen BMS because it’s a mixture of everything i wanted to study. And i want to  go for masters and BMS serves the base for it. I am a fun loving person, Shopaholic and a Music lover. My goal in life is to beat my last performance.

2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
Honestly, It was shocking for me. Although my papers had gone well, but i never expected that i would be the first ranker. And i feel on top of the world now, it gave me confident as well as the courage to raise the bar more and excel to the highest peak of success. I am not in competition with anybody but myself. My goal is to beat my last performance

3) Whom will you credit your success to?
The credit goes to ofcourse my God , my Parents, My siblings, my relatives and friends and last but not the least “NAVIGATOR TUTORIALS” and all my gurus Vishal Mehta Sir, Mihir Mehta Sir, Mayur Desai Sir ,Vijay Shetty Sir ,Vaibhav Sanghavi Sir ,Taiba Khan Mam , Utkarsh Kapadia & Devendra Sir & all the non teaching staff as well.
4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?
No not at all. Whenever i felt like studying i used to study. It always depends on my mood. I am not a kind of person who can study for 8 hours. 2 hours is more than enough.

5) How did you study for Sem V?
I studied Unit wise as per paper pattern and 1 or 2 sums of financial management every day.

6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
According to me Human resource management(HRM) and Business Ethics, But Financial management and Logistics were made easy for me by NAVIGATORS TUTORIALS.

7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
I always start my answer with an Introduction and end it with a conclusion. I always underline the main points so that it will b easy for the examiner to check and so he/she can give more marks.

8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
There was no particular pattern for case study. Because case study is all about your opinion you can’t judge whether that answer is right or wrong.

9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
Yes i did draw diagrams. I don’t think its mandatory but it creates a good impression on the examiner.

10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
No i haven’t adopted any study pattern. But whenever i used to study i gave my 100% concentration which helped me to remember the answers.

11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
Breaks of 15 to 20 min between study times. I used to watch TV whenever i felt bored. But i kept encouraging myself that only few hours more to study and then after results party.

12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
I would make subjects application based rather than theoretical based. I would introduce more elective subjects so that students can excel in their field of interest.

13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
Being from a Big college and not from English medium doesn’t matter. It is all about your confidence and knowledge which makes u excellent in the course of life.

  14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?
I have learned to be punctual in dealing with problems or challenges more efficiently. Learned management techniques of managing studies and enjoying my last year in college. Life is the best when you delete the negative things out of it and c
