1) Tell us about yourself?
I did my 12th from science stream. I chose BMS because I found my interests in the field of management. I am planning to pursue my MBA in finance.
2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
I am overwhelmed.
3) Whom will you credit your success to?
I’ll credit my success to my parents, my best friend and my professors. My professors were a huge support.
Yes. I started studying financial management from the first day.
I made a timetable and I followed it religiously.
It’s necessary to identify your weak subjects and strong subjects and accordingly study.
6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
Logistics and business ethics
Yes. I write in pointers. Answers should be written in such a way that it becomes easy for an examiner to evaluate. Highlight sentences, draw charts or diagrams wherever required.
8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
Study the subject well. Knowing concepts is very important which helps in dealing with case studies
9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
Yes it does help to gain marks. I have used diagrams in my answers to represent what I’ve written.
10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
I didn’t adopt any timetable. I used to set a goal for a day and try to achieve that.
11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
A nap helps a lot. It refreshes your mood and also your eyes get some rest.
12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education?
Firstly, I’ll change the exam paper pattern. I would put only case studies in exam as they help us to apply a particular concept and also identify if we know the concepts well.
One should know their capability and instead of competing with others, compete with yourself.
As I said earlier, I’ve learned to compete with myself and bring out the best of me.
15) Your feedback for BMS.co.in?
It’s a website you would want to visit during exams and to refer important notifications
