1) College days are unforgettable and infact they are the most happy days of every student’s life. As a BMS CR, what are your favorite BMS / college life memories?
The main duty of the CR is to collect the attendance sheet and submit the same to Dada (our Bms department peon), with the signatures of all the students present. One fine day in first year, I forgot to collect the attendance sheet for the first lecture that was of Business communication !
The funny part was that the teacher and the students of my class also forgot about the attendance. Once the lecture was over Dada came running behind me asking for the attendance sheet. That’s when I realised about it. I then took one attendance sheet made the ones in class sign it. Although many of them bunked the next lecture atleast the ones present got their attendance. The whole class was making fun of the fact that, “hum aate hai attendance ke liye, usi mein bhi tu aise harkat karega” 😉
2) What do you mean by leadership? Tell us about a time / describe a situation when you have proved you have better leadership skills.
A leader can take his own decisions and try to implement it on others, but a good leader will always take the views of the people and take a decision.
Whenever a decision regarding extra lectures, date of submission of assignments, presentations or any other things… I always make sure that I first look at my classmates, ask them about what they think and accordingly take a decision and suggest it to the faculty, that this is what my class thinks / wants.
One of the main quality what my co-ordinator Mr. Shashank Pai sir always tells us is punctuality. It is one of the main qualities a person should have in his life. As far as I know, I’ve never been late for anything. I’m punctual enough for everything.
One more quality which I believe I have is to be responsible. One must be responsible for each and every work they do.
With this two qualities one becomes a reliable person.
That’s what makes a better leader.
