Tell us more about yourself.

    Hi friends, My name is Jennifer Anna Joseph from V.K. KRISHNA MENON COLLEGE. Loves to do smart work rather than hard work. My interests are making new cuisines and listening to enriques and rihanna’s music. 

Were you expecting to top in the exams? To whom would you credit this success to?

“WHATEVER YOU ARE, BE A GOOD ONE.” – ABRAHAM LINCOLN and “NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE, THE WORD ITSELF SAYS I’M POSSIBLE!” My aim was to score 75% and above, and that’s what has bought me here. 

I would like to credit my success to the almighty god, to my parents and to my two awesome teachers – Prof. Anjana ashokan and Prof. Divya menon.

Did you prepare religiously from day One or A few weeks before the exams?

I started studying seriously during my internals. I made it a point to read atleast one page everyday from our textbooks.

How did you allot time to different subjects?

Truly to say, i made many timetables, but the one which i made during my internals is what i followed religiously  I studied for 4 hrs everyday.

Can you share some insights on how to crack the subjects before exams? 

HRM – very vast but very simple. regular study, making cues for long answers will help a lot.

SERV – make your concepts clear like crystal .

ETHICS – one of the easy subjects. read , understand and then write.give lot of examples.

LOGISTICS – detailed and regular study will only help.

SSM- my fav subject. give examples everywhere and earn marks.

FM – i made it a point to practice it everyday, without fail.

I also studied thoroughly the previous question papers and mind you helped a lot.

Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?

 Yes, bms students require coaching classes only for practical subjects. I ‘d joined quest classes for FM.

Did you participate in college fests or extra-curricular activities? Do you think a BMS student can manage both studies and extra activities?

Yes bms students can manage both studies and extra curricular activities  because it provides  a platform for using all your theoretical knowledge in a practical manner. I had participated in youth council activities.

Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS?

only computers…..

Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?

There is no need for committing suicides. Parents and teachers can be of great help. Success and failure are two sides of the same coin.  As you sow, so shall you reap. meditation,prayers are of great help.

Do you think the number of Industrial visits should be increased for BMS Students? Which industries have you visited?

Yes the number of industrial visits should be increased for BMS students. because this is the only place where we can clearly see and understand how theoretical knowledge is applied practically. it gives us first hand experience about the various processes. I’d visited parle, textile manufacturing company in gujrat and many more.

Do you think BMS students are flooded with assignments, projects and internal exams round the clock? What changes would you like to bring in the BMS Curriculum?

Absolutely right. BMS students are flooded with assignments, projects and internal exams round the clock. and i think its for our overall development. No changes as such.

What message would you like to give to the next batch of BMS students?

” out of clutter, find simplicity.

from discord, find harmony.

What are the future plans post BMS?

MBA in Retail Management.
