  • Tell us more about yourself.

  • Were you expecting to top in the exams? To whom would you credit this success to?

YES,

The credit of success goes to my Parents who always provided me with all facilities,  Teachers  who provided the required notes & their valuable time and last but not the least my Friends.

  • Did you prepare religiously from day One or A few weeks before the exams?

No, I didn’t prepare religiously from day One , I started preparation for my exam 2-3  months ago.

  • How did you allot time to different subjects?

I didn’t prepare any time table for the studies. I used to study the theory subjects on the daily basis as per taught by the teachers on daily basis. Practical subjects I used to practice regularly. I used to study for 3 hours per day.

  • Can you share some insights on how to crack the subjects before exams?

All subjects are easy. Clear your concept so that you can write the answer in your words is the insight to crack the subject before exam. Write the answer by keeping in mind the marks allotted to it. For eg; For a 10 marks question we have to write the intro, definition & for 5 marks we have to directly start with the main answer.  We have to try & give practical examples in our answers as far as possible. For case study first read the questions & then start reading the cases study. So we will get an idea about what questions are asked & how to answer it. The reference books used for 6th sem for all subjects was RPH publications.

  • Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?

Yes, BMS students require coaching class only for practical subjects because there are some problems where we have to take the help. For theory subject there is no need. Do the theory subject on daily basis.

The class  joined for 6th sem was Navigator Tutorials.

  • Did you participate in college fests or extra-curricular activities? Do you think a BMS student can manage both studies and extra activities?

Yes, I participated in College fest.

The abbreviation of BMS is Bachelor Of Management Studies within which The word “Management” comes in. Thus it is important for every student that he manages both studies & extra curricular activities. In this Course Extra curricular activities are part of it as it helps in over personality Development.

  • Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS?

I pursued Vedic Maths Course in order to get accuracy & speed in my calculations which would help me in life.

  • Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?

Everyone appreciates the success but they never know the attempt put in behind to achieve the success. According to me Failure is the first step towards Success… In life if a person fails once he should never be disappointed & Keep trying hard to achieve his goals & objectives. As after failure the success which we achieve makes us more & more happy & joyful.

  • Do you think the number of Industrial visits should be increased for BMS Students? Which industries have you visited?

Yes, The number of Industry visits should be increased as it helps the students to gain practical knowledge & know the practical aspect of every subject. Through IV we can learn how a Company manages & discipline maintained in the company. I have visited Sudarshan mills, Parle G , Katraj Dairy, paper mill.

  • Do you think BMS students are flooded with assignments, projects and internal exams round the clock? What changes would you like to bring in the BMS Curriculum?

No, because theses assignments & projects including the internal exams are part of the curriculum.. which benefit us in the final exams.. thus increasing the aggregate of the student.
