Interview with Mansi Makhija, FYBMS Student, Jai Hind College

Tell us about yourself

Hi, I am Mansi Makhija from FYBMS, Jai Hind College. I have scored 93.4% in 12th and that why now I am studying in one of the best colleges of Mumbai University.

Achievements: I have done senior Diploma in Bharatnatiyam. I have won silver medal at state level dance group competition and many local prizes for paintings and craft.

Tell us about your college

Jai Hind is no doubt one of the best college with best faculties. What I like most about my BMS programme and the way of teaching of this college is, all studies are application based which will help us to adapt dynamic business world.

When did you join BMS? Which year you are in? What inspired you to choose BMS and not any other course?  

I joined this programme in year 2014. Currently I am doing my 2nd SEM. I chose BMS as it will enhance my managerial skills and it will help me in my future plans.

According to you, what is BMS all about? As a student, what changes would you like to bring in Indian education system?

I joined BMS in 2014. I’m currently in my first year of the course and I took up this course because I believe one needs to know management be it related to any walk of life. Moreover I also want to have an upper hand in giving presentations and BMS course would provide me with opportunity to improve my presentation skills.

My parents and friends

What would you advice someone planning to do BMS?

It is a good course and has a good scope as it is open to everything. One can get into any field after doing BMS but do it only if you are interested in knowing and researching about various stuff.

What are your future plans?

To go to London for post graduation
