1) Tell us about yourself?
I always believe in 2 things punctuality and hard work. I’m currently doing BMS. I desire to be an Entrepreneur and thus I decided to do BMS, through which I can develop my business skills. After BMS I have planned to work as an employee and gather some funds to start on my own business.
2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
The feeling is really awesome. I feel proud and motivated.
3) Whom will you credit your success to?
My professors who were always there whenever I have any doubt. And also to my parents especially my mom who always ensures that I give more and more time to my studies.
4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?
Yes.
5) How did you study for Sem V?
I used to first study the whole unit of one subject and then move on to the other subject . This definitely provides a better understanding of every subject. However practical subject should be practised daily like FM and SSF
6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
SSM and business ethics
7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
Always write answer in points and , if necessary , elaborate the points. Draw diagram as much as possible which give answer at a glance.
8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
I first read the questions which give me idea as to what the case is about ,and then read the case 2 times.
9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
Yes I do draw diagram in papers. It’s not necessary to draw diagram in all the questions until specifically mentioned. Yes diagrams do help to get more marks.
10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
I never follow any timetable. I complete one subject and move on to the other.
11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
Moods swings are normal during exams. To fight against it , we should make sure that we give time to our hobbies which will help us to keep us focused. I used to study for 45 mins and take a break of 5-10 mins to practice my hobbies.
12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
I think in courses like BMS more focus should be given to presentations and viva for each subject. Value education should be included in each and every courses.
13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
Associate yourself with the peoples who have high aims in and learn from them. And just work hard, the only way to get success.
14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?
If we do hard work and have dedication we can achieve any thing in life. If we want to achieve anything in life, two things are most important:Â be punctual and work hard. Without these two things we cannot get success.
