1) Tell us about yourself?
I had joined BMS mainly for doing MBA. As all say that by doing BMS, MBA studies get easy so I chose BMS course.
2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
It is like a dream coming true. I had worked hard and was hoping to get better marks and cherry on the cake was that I got 1st rank.
3) Whom will you credit your success to?
My college teachers, my classes and my parents.
4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?
No practical subjects I started from day 1 and other subjects, I started after August month.
5) How did you study for Sem V?Â
I started my studies by doing practical subjects and theory together. I don’t mug up my subjects. I understand it on my own words and write in exams.
6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
FM was a easy subject.
7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
I write my answers in bullet points.
8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
I first understand the situation given in case study then I think various alternative solutions for it and select the best one.
9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
Yeah it help to get marks but I didn’t drew any diagrams.
10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
I had prepared the time table giving equal time to all subjects.
11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
If I am getting bored, I listen to songs for some time and again start with the studies.
12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
The education system is perfect I don’t feel to change anything.
13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
One of my friend is from Gujarati medium. I always suggest her to write the answers on page and prepare for the exams. It will help her to avoid the spelling mistakes and make speed to write the answers fast.
14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?
I learned that by doing hardwork, if we don’t get the result, don’t give up. Try again and you will get success one day.
