Hey everyone… I am Paras Gala. Currently I am working at my dad’s store. I am from Finance background. I am very much passionate about sports and tracking. During school and college life I took active part in Scout, N.C.C., and N.S.S. I like to be an active member whenever our college organizes the MU’s Youth Festival or the college event. My friends enjoy my company and love to be with me.

Define BMS in 1 line –
BMS is simply Incredible and worth taking it.
1) Which factors were considered in mind while selecting the Sem 6 Electives/Optional subjects?
Firstly my goal was set. After BMS I want to do MBA in finance, so selected finance as elective which would help me further. And love for numerical made me opt for finance & portfolio in Vth & VIth sem respectively. Other factor is, it is scoring as well as easy if you know the basics.
2) Did you use BMS.co.in for your exam preparation? Which sections of BMS.co.in helped you?
All my friends can easily say that I am very addicted to FB. I use to chat and surf a lot… And you guys can’t believe that the ppt slides like images which have been posted by BMS.co.in have helped me for preparing most of the definitions and short answers. And in between I use to open other tabs for examples and in-depth information. Really BMS.co.in has taken a very good step for students while posting those images on FB. Hahahaha! from this mode, fellow like me can study as well as surf both.
3) How do you feel to be a consistent topper in both Sem 5 and Sem 6 exams?
It feels great to be a consistent topper throughout the year; juniors respect us and professors give honor, it sometimes feels crazy! Ethics and IMTP was the boring subject throughout but thanks to Prof. Ganesh Achwal who made easier by illustrating distinct examples.
I don’t actually faced boredom ever because, we peers use to discuss almost everything. In exceptional cases, our professors very funnily use to tells us “abhi hum zinda hai huh…” unless Google-Baba was there 24/7 haheheh… 😀
And off course few things which I have to kept in mind like
1. Revise some questions every day after college and classes, so that during the final days you only have a few questions to revise,
2. For practical subjects, understand the concepts well,
3. Link all points of the answer by creating a story, so that one point connects to the rest.
4) Behind one topper are many people who stood by him/her during those uncertain times when he/she was merely an ‘aspirant’. Would you like to tell the world, who were those people in your case? Any specific incidence that you would like to share with the readers?
Yeah, many people have played vital role behind my success. I would thank my parents for supporting me and friends for being with me in my worse span of life.
I remember how Prof. Deepak Salve was rigorously behind us during and after college hours. He was the key to success, without his support and guidance, I wouldn’t have made through; also whole Navigator Classes team, especially Mayur Desai, took the great efforts for all the practical subjects.
I feel more enthused when our visiting faculty Prof. Shameem Munshi messaged me this a week before the exams,
“To Be A Champion, You Have To Believe In Yourself When Nobody Else Will.
All The BestJ”
At this moment I thought, if I won’t perform, I will perish…
They have never denied whenever approached. Their core trust in me brought me where I am.
5) What is your message to the aspirants?
Always remember
- to have self confident
- motivate & encourage thy self
- prepare well enough and read & answer the questions sensibly
I am the great follower of ‘The APJ Abdul Kalaam’ and his thoughts have always provoked me each and every time. These are some of his words, hope it will inspire you –
“Dreams Is Not What You See In Sleep, It Is The Thing Which Doesn’t Let You Sleep”
”Don’t Take Rest After Your First Victory. Because If You Fail In Second, More Lips Are Waiting To Say, That Your First Victory Was Just Luck”
”Don’t Read Success Stories, You Will Get Only Message… Read Failure Stories, You Will Get Some Ideas To Get Success…!”
6) What was your study plan?
It was just a piece of cake for me. Frankly, I have not devoted any fix hours of study like others nor my parents ever pressurized me. Besides, reading is always my passion and I merely understood the content of the text & enhanced my knowledge. Simple preparation and practice for practical subjects made me confident enough to score well. Moreover, I went through the IMP given from my classes and ‘MOST IMPORTANT – RPH’ was a great help.
