1) Which factors were considered in mind while selecting the Sem 6 Electives/Optional subjects?
Since most of the subjects are theoretical, a practical subject is needed to balance it. I also found Portfolio more challenging and interesting as compared to Retail. Portfolio is also a scoring subject.
2) Did you use BMS.co.in for your exam preparation? Which sections of BMS.co.in helped you?
No, not for exam preparation. But to get the latest updates regarding examination dates, timetable, center list, it immensely helped me.
3) How do you feel to be a consistent topper in both Sem 5 and Sem 6 exams?
It feels great. I was on cloud nine when the results were declared. Though my aim was not to top in my college but to give my best. I feel boredom phase will not come across your way till you enjoy what you do. When it comes to motivation, I believe in self-motivation. External factors cannot motivate you unless you yourself are motivated. BMS students cannot keep themselves busy with books continuously since they are burdened with many presentations.
4) Behind one topper are many people who stood by him/her during those uncertain times when he/she was merely an ‘aspirant’. Would you like to tell the world, who were those people in your case? Any specific incidence that you would like to share with the readers?
There are many people who stood by me and with whom I would like to share my achievement. First and foremost, my parents, who continuously inspired me and gave all kind of assistance that they could. My college professors and classes for solving my doubts, and also the college librarians and my friends. Last but not the least Almighty for giving me strength to overcome all obstacles.
5) What is your message to the aspirants?
Give your best. Attend college prelims for better preparation. Give example while writing your answers wherever needed. Draw diagrams to enhance your answers. Present your answers well. As you study, jot down points that you need to memorize and this will help you during your exams.
6) What was your study plan?
I didn’t follow any fixed study plan. I made a study time table only two months prior to exams and stuck to it.

OPERATIONS RESEARCH- For OR I completely depended on my college professor and classes notes. I didn’t purchase any textbook. However I used to solve sums from textbooks which were available in my college library for better preparation.
INTERNATIONAL FINANCE- Our college was lucky enough to get Prof. Govind Sowani for IF. He is the best professor you can ever have for IF. Practice sums from day one along with theory. Don’t ignore theory as you will later mess up with your study timetable as IF theory will consume most of your preparation time. Govind sir’s textbook is the best book you can have for IF.(Rishabh Publication)
PORTFOLIO-For Portfolio I completely depended on classes notes and didn’t purchase any textbook.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP MANAGEMENT- It’s a vast subject and I referred to Rishabh Publication.
INTERNATIONAL MARKETING- I referred to Himalaya Publication as answers were given in an organized manner.
IMTP-It is a dry subject as compared to other subjects. I referred to Rishabh Publication.
