1) Tell us about yourself?
1. Myself Rehnuma Bawani. I completed my HSC from science stream. I always wanted to work at a higher position in a company.since management study is the first step towards achieving that position, i chose BMS course.
2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
2. I feel jubilant. The feeling of being the topper keeps me motivated to work more harder. After all, success comes with hardwork.
3) Whom will you credit your success to?
3. Without Allah’s (swt) blessings it was impossible for me to succeed. Also My teachers continuous
guidance and knowledge helped me to get to this position. I would also like to give credit to my Parents who always prayed for my success.
4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?
4. Honestly, i did not prepare from the very first day. I always prepare before a month or two. But i concentrate on the lectures taken by my professors which helps me to understand the concepts while studying.
5) How did you study for Sem V?
5. Before preparing for any of the subjects it is important to understand it deeply. I did the same. I also simplified the answers and prepared notes on my own which made the preparation easier for me.
6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
6. In my opinion, every subject becomes easy when understood well. If the concepts are clear, elaborating answers is not difficult. As far as practical subjects are concerned, all u need is concentration.

7. Presentation counts. A well- presented answer can fetch more marks. I write answers using charts and bullet points. I also highlight the important points of the answer.
8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
8. As the name suggests, studying the case well gives you the idea behind it. I first analyse the case and then relate the answers to concepts mentioned in subjects.

9. Yes i do draw diagrams wherever necessary. It makes the answers more clear to the examiner. Diagrams makes the answer more presentable and helps to get more marks.

11. Mood swings and distractions are natural during exams. I make study my first priority and focus on completing my targets for the subjects.
12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
12. Indian education system lacks skill and knowledge based learning. Nowadays, students study only to crack exams and not for gaining knowledge. It is because of the system who gives importance only to the high scorer. It is said that, “Give a man a fish, and u feed him one day. Teach him how to catch fishes and you feed him for lifetime.” If given a chance, i would focus more on skill and knowledge based education.
13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
13.College and language doesn’t matter when you have potential to excel. All one need is self-confidence and the determination to succeed. Its your inner strength that matters.
14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?                  Â
14. There is a saying,” As you sow, so shall you reap.” All one should do is give his best and make all the efforts regardless of the reward. Such behaviour will not only give you success but will also lift up your self-esteem. Never think of becoming better then anybody else. Be better than you were before.
15) Your feedback/suggestions for BMS.co.in?
15. Bms.co.in has always updated important information beforehand which made my preparations and plans easier.
