1.) Tell us about yourself, your background, why did you join BMS and what do you plan to do after BMS?

I have completed my education from Mount Mary High School. My father is a businessman and my mother is housewife. I did BMS as I always want to handle a business as it taking risk and managing resource. This course allows obtaining the knowledge and skills to be assuming management position in a wide range of organisation.

 

2.) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in Semester exams?

It actually makes you feel great to be topper. It is fruitful result of your hard work so makes you feel proud. It motivates you to do your best in each term.

 

3.) Whom will you credit your success to?

To my parents and teachers no doubt. They are very helpful and give u proper guidance.  They are the one who keeps on motivating you.

 

4.) Did you start preparing from the first day of your FY / SYBMS?

Well I would say that no one study or prepare themselves from very first day of your FY. It is just before a day of your exam when every prepare themselves.

5.) How did you study for Sem I / Sem III? (Share some tips / advice for each subject)

Everyone has their own way to study. I would advise that you should be clear with concept so that you can frame your answer in your own words.

 

6.) Which are the easy subjects in Sem I / Sem III?

There is no subject to be considered as hard or easy. It’s your view or your perception that you consider it easy or hard.

 

7.) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?

I do write my answer in bullet points. Basically if you write paragraphs its boring to check make the examiner feels sleepy. If you write in bullets point the examiner gets an idea that you know something and make diagram where needed.  I consider this as the best way to present your answer.

 

8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?

To crack case studies in theory and practical subject is basically how well you understand the concept the matter, how much u practice practically and to some extent to put your opinion.

 

9.) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?

Yes I do draw diagrams in paper it is not mandatory. It does make your paper presentable and moderator have an idea what is actually written in your answer.

 

10.) Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?

No there is no such specific study pattern. I study a day prior to exam.

 

11.) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?

I listen to music, play games and spend time with family to get refresh and then I go back to study

 

12.) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in BMS education system?

Changes that I would like to initiate in BMS education system would implement and bring practical things like visit, projects, workshops etc.

 

13.) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?

One must have confidence as everyone has some unique quality talent that other people won’t have it is all you need to realise your strength and have confidence in oneself.

 

14.) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition? What is your message to the upcoming BMS students?

Work hard, stay confident is what I want to give message to upcoming BMS students.
