Tell us more about yourself.
Hi,Friends !! So to know about me I am sensitive by nature and determined to achieve my goals. Currently have just stepped into the corporate world to explore more of my side.

Were you expecting to top in the exams? To whom would you credit this success to?
Yes, Definitely I was expecting to top in my exams. (Please don’t think I am over-confident but I knew I had given my best to achieve it). I would give the credit to everyone who supported me throughout my journey of BMS and specially my parents.

Did you prepare religiously from day One or A few weeks before the exams?
Hmmmm, Frankly speaking for 6th sem I did start my preparations before hand unlike 5th sem. This time it was like 43 days prior I felt that I should start preparing for exams which I did but during this period I had a gap of 10-15 days as I was not well.

How did you allot time to different subjects?
I had no fix study plan. I use to make time-tables but never followed it. The basic idea was practical subjects + theory for a particular day.

Can you share some insights on how to crack the subjects before exams?
The best answer to this question would be attend the lectures so that you get the basic concepts clear first.
I felt all the subjects were easy in 6th sem.
The answers should be written in clear and good handwriting, it should be written point wise, highlight the important points, leave proper space in between the answers wherever required. Length of the answer should be acc. to the marks allotted.
Read the case study first and understand it well, then relate the case with the appropriate concept of that subject. Than present the answer of the case study with 3 paras:
– Introduction
– about the case
– conclusion
I used a combination of 2-3 books for studying but RPH and Vipul comes handy.

Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?
BMS is a mixture of theory and a bit of practical subjects.
Theory is definitely self-study but for practical subject you need to coaching classes.
Yes, I had joined classes for practical subjects.

Did you participate in college fests or extra-curricular activities? Do you think a BMS student can manage both studies and extra activities?
Yes,I did participate in them. Ya a BMS student can manage both of them together. I myself was an active member in the events.

Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS?
No, I didn’t

Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?
Depression or tension of exams is not good. Just be calm and prepare well for the exams. Committing suicide out of failure is not a good option guys !! Think about your family how would they feel.
Just spend some time doing things which you feel like doing and be in a good mood that can be your stress buster.

Do you think the number of Industrial visits should be increased for BMS Students? Which industries have you visited?
Yes, indeed they should increase it. IVs are always fun.
I have visited Parle- G, RBI and Magic Buzz in our 1 days IV and Kerala for the long IV (Spicies and Tea Producing places).

Do you think BMS students are flooded with assignments, projects and internal exams round the clock? What changes would you like to bring in the BMS Curriculum?
That’s the best thing about BMS. Last minute preparations about them is just fun. I won’t like to bring any chance.

What message would you like to give to the next batch of BMS students?
Just give your best efforts guys !! Don’t loose hope if u’ll don’t score good marks. This is not the end of life. Be clam
Good Luck for your future !!

What are the future plans post BMS?
Currently I am working with JP Morgan Chase Bank and then would do an MBA.
