1) Tell us about yourself?
I am soha desai…I study in ty bms…i am from a rural area…i joined BMS because i love managerial field and i hav planned to go for MMS after getting done with BMS
2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
Ans- To be at the top is when the whole around you changes and make note for you….I feel good for my parents who toiled all along with me and their support was always with me….Their smile is the biggest reward …and makes me the real topper.
3) Whom will you credit your success to?
Ans- Firstly i would like to thank almighty for my achievements and then i would like to credit it to my parents….my friends who always encouraged me and all my teachers.
4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?
Ans-No, I didn’t get to work from the first day because at the start i was busy in the competitions and other extra-curricular activities….I started studying at the times of my practice papers.
5) How did you study for Sem V?
Ans- I always tried to balance all the subjects and not to over-emphasize any one subject. I would study one theory subject and one practical subject i.e. financial management.
6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
Ans- I found Logistics and supply chain management and Human Resource management easy.
7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
Ans-I would write the answers in bullet points so that my answers would be properly presentable.
8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
Ans-For case studies there is a need of logical and clear understanding of fundamentals. Personal opinion based on analysis, assumptions and decision making ability are the points to be considered while writing case studies.
9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
Ans-Yes, I used to draw diagrams wherever necessary. Diagram makes it easy to the examiner to figure out the exact content of my answers. In finance I didn’t drew diagrams because it was based on solutions and calculations.
10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
Ans-Per day i used to study one theory subject and one practical subject .i.e finance. My plan was to give same no. of days to each theory subject.
11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
Ans-I used to pray, i used to eat something, listen to music etc.
12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
Ans-If i will be the vice chancellor i would insist the colleges to pay more attention to update the sadly obsolete syllabus that is prescribed by University grants.
13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
Ans-I would only say that always aim big in life and always believe in yourself. Be confident in the efforts you put in your studies because it is rightly said that there is no substitute for hard work.
 14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?
Ans- I have learned to work more hard because it feels really proud when my success brings happiness to my family and friends. The wisdom if life is that rather you go top of the world never feel overconfident.
