1) Tell us about yourself?
I am from commerce background. I have always been from a business family so getting into commerce was something that I had always decided. I chose BMS because I wanted a course which widens my horizons and makes me industry compatible. And I plan to pursue my MBA after Bms.
2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
It feels amazing and holds a very special place in my heart.
3) Whom will you credit your success to?
I credit my success to my family especially my sister who always supported me and Navigator tutorials.
4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?Â
No. I did not start preparing since the first day..Whenever I felt like studying I studied.
5) How did you study for Sem V?Â
Studying for me is understanding the subject. Clearing the basic concepts and writing it in my own words is what I do. Understanding is the key for every theory paper. And subjects like FM need regular practice.
6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
Easy subjects according to me were business ethics and special studies in marketing.
7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
Yes I write the answers in bullet points and highlight the key words.
8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
Case studies require analytical skills. Once u have understood what the case is then you can relate to the subject and write your answer.
9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
Yes I drew a couple of diagrams like flow charts. It is not mandatory but it helps the examiner to know about your subject knowledge.
10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
No. I never had a study pattern. Whenever I felt like studying I would study with concentration.
11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
I listen to music. It’s the best therapy!
12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
I would like to initiate more activities like case studies, going to real workplaces and having first hand working experience. If colleges provide such opportunities and placements for SUMMER INTERNSHIPS that would help us develop even better.
13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
Firstly, never lose confidence and hope. Perseverance is the key to success. Do your best and leave the rest to god.
 14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?Â
Healthy Competition is always good, it helps you aim higher in life. Failures are a part of like but one must not be afraid of it. Never let anything affect you, neither success nor failure. Always stay grounded.
