Hi, I am Tajinder Kaur, currently pursuing TYBMS in Guru Nanak College. I am from commerce background. I thought to go with self-finance course and BMS was my first choice because this course has wide scope and after my TYBMS I want to do job. It feels great, being a topper in BMS and realize that hard work really pays a lot. I would give credit to my family and my college teachers who have supported me a lot and my classes. I didn’t study from the first day of BMS but 2 or 3 months before the exams. Studying for me is preparing my own notes in my own words and practicing FM and SSF regularly. My easy subjects are HRM, SSF, Logistics, Ethics, infact all subjects are easy, you just need to concentrate. I write the answers in bullet points which is quite attractive and students should avoid writing answers in paragraphs. Solving case studies requires knowledge about the particular subject and then relate them according to questions. I drew diagrams in all theory questions subjects which is quite scoring and gives the clear understanding about that concept. I prepare timetable and study accordingly. I divert my mind listening to music to avoid mood swings and distractions. According to me, education system should be such that subjects must give future benefits to students and 75-25 paper pattern is not good, 60-40 was the best. I think college name doesn’t matter and students should have confidence and never lose hope and have faith in God. I would like to say to the students that be competitive and improve yourself and grab the opportunities. BMS.co.in is the best site as it helped me a lot as far as how the question paper pattern will be and many more.
