Finally WWDC 2014 ended on a high note yesterday. This is one of the biggest events for the Apple fanboys and developer. Apple did let a few hints out that made it more than obvious for us that the next generation of the mega-successful iPhone series, the iPhone 6, isn’t coming earlier than this September. In fact, we believe the iPhone 6 release date will be sometime in September.
At WWDC 2014’s keynote, Apple announced iOS 8 – the upcoming version of iOS 7, and the operating system that’s going to come preloaded on the new iPhone. For the developers the iOS 8 will be available as of today and the normal layman would have to wait for it till the September end. This comes to show that Apple probably isn’t going to deviate from the time frames that it’s been following in the last couple of years. Obviously, Apple isn’t going to release the iPhone 6 before the release of iOS 8, so it’s only logical to assume that the iPhone 6 will arrive in the fall as well. Sorry, guys, but the iPhone 6 isn’t likely to arrive earlier than usual.
The iPhone 4s got released on October 14, 2011, but then the iPhone 5 got released on September 21, 2012, and the iPhone 5s got released on September 20, 2013. With this in mind, it does seem very likely that iOS 8 will launch around the middle of September, with the iPhone 6 following shortly after. So after taking a calculated guess I think the iPhone 6 release won’t be before the mid-September.
