Reality shows tend to deal with reality with a work of fiction. how many times do you come across people getting agitated for the silliest of reasons Big boss / Roadies / jersey shore are perfect examples in that case .This work of fiction manages to strike a chord among us when dealt with a similar negative or an agitated situation because an “act of heroism “is what the youth crave for and the above participants especially the known ones manage to play an important role to suit their definition.
But I would be mistaken if I consider this to be the only aspect of a REALITY SHOW…Talent reality shows prevent me from saying so for if not for the talent shows one would end up being ignorant to an astonishing array of talent the world has to offer.
Think of the famous celebrities that have managed to reach the top due to the talent shows there would be no 1D,little mix , JLO or Cheryl Cole or back home Sunidhi Chauhan ,Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet Sawant, Ayushmann Khuranna. Not only the talent aspect one can learn a lot from talent shows like amazing race..[Time management and delegation of authority] & the apprentice [team work, management & creativity skills] so, here it is reality shows can play two sides of a coin it is up to the youth in order to act upon.
Therefore I would conclude by saying that reality shows to an extent have the capacity to influence but it is what the youth manages to grasp from the reality show that is important.
