“Jai Ho” Movie is a remake of Telugu movie “Stalin” which featured Chiranjeevi, Khushboo, Prakash Raj in leading characters. The Hindi film is slated to hit theatres on 24th January 2014.
Jai Ho Movie Story:
The film’s main character Jai’s (played by Salman Khan) only mission is to make this world a better place to live in. He had served as a Major in the Indian Army and quit the army as he had a rift with the Lieutenant Colonel. One day Jai helps a physically challenged girl to write her Intermediate exams. It happens so that another day there is no one to write on her behalf and she commits suicide which disturbs Jai. Then Jai makes a chain system and the principle is that everyone should help others in return they should not seek a mere gratitude but tell those who get the help to help 3 more. This is with a condition that those who get help from them should also demand the same. Jai thinks that this chain will help people to develop a helping attitude but he then finds out that the chain does not work.
At one point, Jai bashes a rich boy who injures a beggar. The rich boy employs some goons to attack Jai and as Jai disappears from the scene, the goons take away Jai’s sister and friend. Jai hacks the hand of one goon who happens to be the relative of the Home Minister. The Home Minister takes this as prestige issue and tries to eliminate Jai. In the process, the Minister also loses his son and plots a plan to kill the Chief Minister and implicate Jai in the murder. Jai gets a severe chest pain due to a bullet which remained in his chest, close to the heart when he was in the Kargil war. Finally the truth prevails that help 3 people was Jai’s brainchild which saved him from death in the form of a school girl. Finally, the doctors remove the bullet successfully and Jai thanks all the people for making his concept a success.
Jai Ho Movie Review:
Concept of ‘Jai Ho’ movie is noble and provocative. You will be moved with the message of “help 3 people” circulated throughout the movie. The bone crunching, face smashing actions sequences are fair and debutant Daisy Shah is impressive in her role. Other actors Suniel Shetty, Ashmit Patel, Yash Tonk, Bruna Abdullah, Sana Khan are also good in their roles. Danny successfully recreates terror and Salman’s generosity and simplicity wins you over his aggression. Music by Sajid-Wajid is average but the movie has got a strong message making it a sure-shot entertainer.
