14 lakh students appeared for JEE Main 2014 exam in 150 centres across India on Sunday conducted by CBSE.
Those students who will clear the exam will be able to get admission in the UG engineering programmes in NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutes of India.
JEE Main 2014 exam was offline paper-based exam. Online exam will be held on 9th, 11th and 12th April 2014.
Students found the paper to be easy except for Mathematics. 1.5 lakh Students who clear Paper I i.e. JEE Main 2014 will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. The students who qualify to be in the top 20 percentile of their respective XII class board and clear the JEE Advanced cut-off will make it to the final merit list of IITs.
JEE Main 2014 results are expected to be declared on 3rd May 2014.
