An Interview with Veenu Manera, TYBMS Sem 5 Topper, Dnyan Ganga Educational Trust College (72%)
I like to hear songs whenever I am free and I am very much interested into sports. I was not expecting to top in the exams but I was expecting 70+ and I want to give this credit to my loving mom and friends without them I am nothing. To study every subject under pressure will help you more. Just be positive always. Make notes of headings of every chapter and try to relate every answer with examples. This will make you understand more quickly. I suggest set your time as per paper and give last 30 minutes to case studies. To solve any case study first you read it twice and in between reading underline important points (maximum 5 to 7 minutes) then as per the questions, set time and solve it. I have joined coaching classes and I think coaching class plus self-study are important. Classes help to learn but self-study help to study perfectly. I am the SC of my college and I used to participate in intercollegiate competitions and I have handled college functions too. If you give proper time to everything then any BMS student can handle more than 2 activities at a time. I think it makes him/her more active and responsible. Students, just believe in yourself. Results is the combination of both hard work and luck. Try to solve maximum paper as much as you can. I suggest atleast you do meaning and features (headings) of all chapters, it will motivate you and you can score 30+. I think 1 IV per year is more than enough for BMS students because more than 1 IV will break our time management. I have visited Parle G, HUL, Bondex Drums Co., Dainik Bhaskar and Saras Milk Diary. I would suggest Mumbai university that once you declare our timetable, please don’t postpone/prepone it. For my juniors, my advice will be Do atleast 1 hour serious study of 1 subject daily and it will reduce your tension and help you during exams and also do masti and dhamaal in college.
