Liability in respect of Scheduled Goods

In case of unusually valuable goods like gold and silver and unusually perishable goods such as glass, ivory articles, musical instruments etc. he is not liable for the loss of goods if the value of goods exceeds Rs. 100, unless the consignor or his agent expressly declares their value and their description to the carrier.
