Transfer Deadline Day that is the 1st September is always a day when media, football fans, managers have all their eyes on the transfers as this is the last day of the summer transfer window. There have been some great signings in the past during transfer deadline day, for Manchester United a very notable signing was young teenager Wayne Rooney some 10 years back who was signed for record 26 million and turned out to be a great player for Manchester United.
Red Devils have got another top class striker this deadline day as Radamel Falcao has joined Man Utd on a season long loan for 12million pounds from A S Monaco. It was rumored that Falcao wanted out of Monaco and Manchester United came in for the loan deal after letting Javier Hernandez go to Real Madrid on loan and sell Shinji Kagawa to Borussia Dortmund. United are also looking to sell home boy Danny Welbeck, so getting Falcao is a great deal.
Man United now have 3 strikers in Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie and now Radamel Falcao, that is surely one of the best strike force in the world adding Juan Mata and Angel Di Maria it just makes United a goal machine, it is all upto LvG to gel these superstars together, build a chemistry in a team whose defense is still pretty average. This was a deal no one expected and Ed Woodward did prove what he is capable of with 2 high profile signings this season in Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao even without Champion’s League Football. It is just a matter of time as we see this United team be what they used to be under Sir Alex Ferguson.
