What is AIMA MAT?
All India Management Association (AIMA)Â organizes Management Aptitude Test annually for admission in Management programmes. Every year lacks of candidates appear for the MAT Exam
 When is it conducted?
MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September and December.
 Eligibility criteria:
The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally. Usually, there is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation, which is different for different MIs/University. For this refer to the prospectus of the particular MIs/University.
 Format of the exam:
MAT 2014 will be conducted in two modes, Paper Based Test and Computer Based Test. Students can choose any one of the two options to take exam.
MAT is conducted for post graduate management courses; MBA, MBA+Post Graduate Diploma in Bachelor Administration and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management. The exam pattern changes from year to year. There is not any prescribed format for the test. The pattern of the exam is objective type. In this exam 200 questions are asked and the duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The exam provides you the opportunity to opt in any mode either online or through conventional mode pen paper based. Institutes participating in MAT are either AICTE/DEC approved; university affiliated colleges.
