Prof Y.K. Bhushan a product of Delhi University where he got his M. Com in 1957 , earned his MBA in 1966 from Indiana University USA on a Fulbright Fellowship. Over the last 55 years and more since 1957, Professor Bhushan taught at the University of Delhi , National Institute of Co-operative Management and successfully headed the Bankers’ Training Institution of Central Bank of India and Dena Bank at Senior Management level. He earned a certificate in Research Methodology from the prestigious Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi. He also headed and built from scratch Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, which enjoys the status of a Deemed University.
Prof. Bhushan has been appointed as the Chancellor of ICFAI University Nagaland. He will hold this position concurrently as the Senior Advisor and Head at IBS Business School Mumbai, Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University, Meghalaya in North East India and Chairman Federation of Universities of ICFAI Universities.
Prof. Bhushan has been conferred Honorary Fellowship by IIBF, IMCI and ISTD. He was also honored by AIMS with Ravi Mathai Fellowship.
Professor Bhushan has held several positions of leadership in professional bodies of management education in India and in the South Asian region. He is a past President of AIMS,AMDISA and ISTD. He is currently a President Emeritus of ISTD. He is a founder member of SAQs and currently Chairman of the SAQS Council.
He was also conferred with HR Award for 2011 -12 by Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) at the 2nd National HRD Conclave at Vadodara, “Indy’s B-School Leadership Award and Bloomberg -UTV Powered B-School Excellence Award for his outstanding contributions to the field of education. “Visionary Leader Award” by World Education Congress and Stars of Industry Group and DNA (leading Indian newspaper) Several Life Time Achievement awards, Nurturer of People award and Qimpro Quality Award for education, for his Institution Building efforts and contribution to Management and Education in India.
The latest awards to his credit are ;

– Hall of Fame award by Amar Jwala B-School Excellence award
– “Thought Leader Award(Education)” by Thought Leaders International, Asian Confederation of Business, Stars of the Industry Group & World HRD Congress
Prof. Bhushan has been elected as the President of the Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship of India (CSBE), Indian Affiliate of International Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship(ICSB) with its Head Quarters in Washington DC,USA.
Prof. Bhushan has guided and examined a number of scholars for Ph D and has been an active trainer for several leading corporate.
Prof. Bhushan has attended numerous conferences including Global Management Forum and more recently Pakistan India Management Summit at Lahore.
His book’ People, Technology and Entrepreneurship’ a compilation of his papers written singly and jointly has been recently published by Shroff Publishers Mumbai.
