Tell us about yourself, your background, why did you choose to do BMS and what do you plan to do after BMS?
I am Nimisha. I have done my schooling from Rajhans Vidyalaya. I am a native of Himachal Pradesh. I chose Bachelor of Management Studies as career option because for development of any nation, it is the different industries which needs to be developed and for any business growth it’s management plays a key role and hence I want to develop management skills through acquiring basic knowledge by reading different subjects of management. After doing my graduation, I would like to join MBA.

Tell us about your college
I am studying in Ghanshyamdas Saraf College which is run by Rajasthani Sammelan Trust. The college has good facilities such as library, classrooms etc. After joining college, it was a different experience for me. After coming from school atmosphere, it was all together different ambience with more freedom. One of the most memorable moments was when I participated in college fest in which I got an exposure how to organize different programmes. We have very good faculty. All of them are very cordial and supportive.
Â
Who in your life has influenced the most? Why?
My parents have influenced me the most because they are very supportive. They always build my confidence, motivate me and always guide me towards the right path.
Â
Presentations and Projects form a very integral part of BMS. Any comments on how to ace them?
Presentation creates an artificial business environment and helps us to experience the same. It helps us to identify the areas where we lack and gives us an opportunity to improve. It provides platform to a student to interact and express their communication skills, their views. On the other hand, project helps a student to do research on their own and helps them to explore which expands their knowledge.

Tell us about your student experience at Vipin Saboo Tutorials. Would you recommend VST to other students?
Yes, I would definitely recommend other students to join VST. Vipin Saboo is an eminent personality in the field of coaching. He is an amazing teacher, as he always treats each of his students as his friend. He is very supportive.VST is renowned class in Mumbai. Chapter wise tests are conducted regularly to score high in board exams.
If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in the Indian education system? And even in BMS?
If I were the Vice Chancellor, I would have requested the Board to change the syllabus to more upgraded one as the information and facts given in our subjects are outdated. There must be smooth functioning of management in terms of admission procedures and there should be no partiality in terms of marks.
Does coming from a well reputed or good college/school help you boost your confidence? What message would you like to give to the students coming from an inferior college/vernacular medium?
If people believe that well reputed college or school boost up the moral of a student then I personally believe that it is not correct. It is the myth that confidence is gained only in reputed college. I believe confidence is generated by a good teacher. Students from vernacular medium should not fear joining well reputed college because it is learning what matters the most and not the name of college.
Your feedback for BMS.co.in?
It’s a great platform for all students to be connected. It helps students to share their knowledge and experience. The site also shares the recent updates of BMS.
Your favorite / memorable moments at VST which you would like to share with the audience?
VST is very systematic and disciplined and makes student to focus on studies.
Â
VST is known to produce subject toppers and college toppers, what are your action points to reach there
Being regular and attentive in class would help me to achieve higher marks. One needs to be focused in studies and pay more attention towards the concepts rather than mugging up the answers.
