The iBall Andi 4 IPS Tiger, a smartphone that was listed on the company’s website and was available with online retail store couple of weeks ago, has now been officially launched by the firm.
The Andi 4 IPS Tiger offers dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The new budget Android smartphone from iBall features a 4-inch IPS display with a (WVGA) 480×800 pixel resolution and offers a pixel density of 233ppi. A quad-core (unspecified chipset) Cortex A7 processor powers the Andi 4 IPS Tiger smartphone, clocked at 1.3GHz, along with 512MB of RAM. The handset also comes in a 1GB RAM variant.
The new iBall smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera also onboard that also supports 3G video calling. The Andi 4 IPS Tiger comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, and can be expanded up to an additional 32GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G support. The Andi 4 IPS Tiger is backed by a 1300mAh battery with no word on talk time and standby time. It also features FM radio connectivity alongside the auto-call recording feature.
